About the Event
Nana Kumi is an ancient war deity from Aburi-Nsaba, Ghana. West Africa. Nana Kumi gives great strength and fortitude. His shrine laid dormant for hundreds of years in the old town called Nsaba.
In 1972 on a Thursday afternoon while walking through the town, Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu 1st discovered an old tree stump overgrown by bushes. Nana Yao told the people that there was something under that tree stump. Due to the persistence of Nana Yao, they dug deep into the ground and found the shrine of Nana Kumi.
